I'm not sure I really know what I have started here. But I'm am so fascinated by the foundation of Jack Whitehead's and Jean McNiff's Living Theory.

The more I've learned about Action Research and about social science the more I'm sure I know very little. For a long time, working with my master degree, I've felt that something was missing. Something important. I'm still not sure what this something is, but I still feel it is important.

The turn came when I revisited ActionResearch.net and took a new and more serious deep dive into some of its material. My couch guided me to towards Jean Mcniff's and Jack Whitehead's Book:Action research - principles and practice, I continued my deep dive and took a quick swim through Jack's e-Book:Living Theory and all of a sudden I felt like home. Don't ask me why (yet), but I know I'm onto something here that fit's me well as an educator, as a teacher, and fit's me well as I'm about to become an educational researcher.

I know I still have long way to go, there are a lot of conceptions that need to be understood and put into it's place. But my intuition tells me that I've finalley startet to dig in the right place.

I will continue to update this and other pages related to this one with my experience as I implement the methodology from Living Theory into my practice. I invite you as a reader to have a critical eye on the work I describe, I want you to challenge me, and I encourage you to involve in my work. These pages are all living pages, they are open for discussions and I will do whatever I can to make this become a meaningful discourse for both you, the group involved here, and me.

I challenge the rest of the group to take part in my assertions and challenge me, yourself and the rest of the group until we can decide on some useful additions to our practice.
